  I have 5 wonderful children. When I became pregnant with my first I was introduced to the world of midwives. For all of my births, I had a midwife do the delivery. For some, she was by my side for the whole labor. For some, the midwife came in just for the delivery. It was such a different experience for me when I had that extra person by my side. It was reassuring, comforting and kept me focused. I knew that I was capable of birth because of my support system. Because of that, I want to be that person in your birth. Women are built to be able to birth a child and it is a beautiful experience to see a woman realize that she CAN do this!
