Childbirth Videos

There are tons of childbirth videos available online. Most of the videos are homemade and really do a great job communicating what a real birth is like. I am very grateful that we live in such a time that women all over the world have access to information like this right from their own homes. Being able to watch a woman give birth is a very empowering experience because it gives you proof of just how powerful women (YOU) really are. And it helps you realize that if the woman in the video can do it, then so can you!

If you’ve ever had the privilege to witness a live childbirth (or had one of your own), then you can appreciate just how special these childbirth videos are.

For some reason, I’ve never managed to get a good video of any of my children’s births. At my youngest daughter’s birth, my husband did manage to get a short video of me in labor. He didn’t realize, however, that taking a video in such low light would create a beautiful audio recording (you can hear my water breaking in the video) that was totally black. Oops :) At the birth of my son just a few years earlier, everything happened so fast that we barely managed to get pictures. The closest I got to a video is something we created after the birth of my daughter Talula, which you can see here.

Whether you’re preparing for the birth of your child or you’re just looking to share in the miracle that birth is, I hope that you find the childbirth videos below helpful.
