Really? Either you don't understand statistics or you are willingly obfuscating the facts. THREE TIMES more likely means nothing! If vaginal birth yields 1 death per 1 million births, and c-section yields THREE deaths per 1 million births...guess what? It would STILL make maternal death unlikely! So, YOU do your research and present the "FACTS" accurately before dumbing down folks out there who may not have taken STATS 101 because - let me tell you, doctors have taken that course. Your article does women a disservice and you should either take it down or revise it to reflect...the FACTS. Intellectual? Really? I'm sure it happens sometimes if mom has certain medical conditions...so I'm not doubting you, just curious! In the absence of any serious medical conditions that would prevent vaginal birth, I'd say any woman with 2 prior c/s DOES have options. They may not be options that are easy to find, or options that you'd consider entertaining...but it's possible.... Sara–Why is a c-section your only option? I am on my way for my third c-section and I don't have a choice reading this is terrifying for someone like me!!!!! I am not choosing c-section it is my only option and I am very nervous! I am a student nurse and I know the risks but putting this up when you google c-section times three and come up with this it is stressful. I would love to be a hippy birth mother that can just pop them out but I am not that women! I am not an elite to posh to push women I am a women without an option. I hate this article!
